What is MAMUS?
MAMUS is an integral 360-degree technology training program designed for children and young people that uses a STEAM scheme learning approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), Stimulating creativity, soft skills, and entrepreneurship as the main engine of social innovation.
With a strategic corporate social responsibility approach, this program seeks to motivate companies to expand their social investments with an integral program in the STEAM field, which also aims to contribute in reducing social gaps and other challenges of the 4th industrial revolution.
MAMUS is an homage to the wisdom imparted in the culture of the indigenous communities that live in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and their ancestral tradition to share knowledge.

Components
Mobile Classroom
Equipped to quickly deploy anywhere, the Mobile Classroom is an educational facility with all the hardware, software tools and materials for teaching, developing, and implementing innovative ideas, STEAM content and other programs.
Robotics Kit
Octabio Education 2.0 brings science, technology, engineering, math, and coding to life. Based on a classroom friendly open-source technology and self-learning processes, Octabio Education 2.0 is a powerful technological tool for the development of attractive and scalable projects, increasing the students’ interest and confidence to ask questions, define problems and design their own solutions by putting the STEM learning approach directly on their hands.
Online Platform and App
The online platform and app employ a learning management system for massive teaching with personalized supervision for groups and individuals. This system allows for the development and tracking of the content and the identification of potential talent and learning opportunities. Our platforms create a powerful collaborative community that strengthens the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
Supporting Material and Methodologies
This material allows students of any educational level to delve into the basic concepts of engineering and science, implementing these concepts into finding different ways to solve a problem with a limited number of elements. In this way, critical thinking, teamwork, and creativity are encouraged, being necessary skills to meet the challenges presented in the industrial revolution 4.0.
This material serves as a didactive tool based on Challenges. It’s designed to be carried out in a flexible manner inside and outside of the classroom, as a workshop and training activity for the concepts of engineering, art, and science; as well as to encourage cooperation, communication, responsibility, commitment, and trust skills, all of which are being driven and motivated by creativity and innovation for problem solving. The material is designed for its application on basic, upper secondary and higher education.
STEAM Multiplier Training Systems
Aware of the need to multiply STEAM knowledge and training processes, we designed a virtual instructive methodology for trainers. The MAMUS certification for trainers creates a first job opportunity for our young people.

Projects
Dreamer
The project seeks to encourage children and young people in the aerospace world through the development of the Dreamer rocket. The solid fuel rocketwill have flight ceiling 500m high and eject a Cansat-type satellite that measures atmospheric variables and spreads seeds to reforest the areas near its landing.
